Fully enjoy nature in Iga no Sato Mokumoku Tezukuri Farm!
Get in touch with your inner farmer and immerse yourself in hands-on food-making workshops, getting acquainted with animals, and being in nature.
Iga no Sato Mokumoku Tezukuri Farm, also known as Mokumoku Farm, an agricultural park located in Iga City, Mie Prefecture.
The next few hours we spent strolling around the farm petting the various animals and taking photos of and with them. Unfortunately, being a weekday, several of the other facilities, restaurants, and other experiences were closed. Also due to the current quasi-state of emergency for COVID-19, we were a bit bummed that the beer pub was also closed as was the shiitake mushroom picking experience that we hoped to try.
We did, however, get to take a little tour of their brewery where they make all their beers, and it was great to see the process of beer making and the awards they have won.
On the way out we stocked up on plenty of delicious fresh breads and some pork products to take home.
We both thoroughly enjoyed our day there and will be back once conditions are “back to normal” for other experiences and more of their amazing breads and meats.
