The "Akame 48 Falls" are an art of nature created by the series of numerous falls that continue all the way to the upstream of the river.
Falls of various sizes are scattered including "Akame-gobaku" (The Akame Five Waterfalls) which are "Fudo-daki" Fall, "Senju-daki" Fall, "Nunobiki-daki" Fall, "Ninai-daki" Fall and "Biwa-daki" Fall. A recreational path of about 4 km long connecting the falls is a hiking route of a roundtrip of about 3 hours.
In spring, you can see wild cherry blossoms, kerria and azelea.
In early summer, you can see the fresh green leaves. In autumn, you can see the red coloring of leaves.
In winter, you can see the snow-covered scenery and the frozen falls.
Whichever season you come, you will be able to enjoy the scenery that changes through four seasons and also enjoy forest bathing, charging yourself with negative ion.
